Bounty hunter finally gets a hit, but target wasn't marked (idk how, he got pulled successfully, guess vestal can take away debuffs?). Skulls are ignored entirely for a short time after this, both when choosing who to attack and what they were actually doing on their turns. Crusader goes on defensive and marks himself, bounty hunter yanks Hastur from the backline, vestal stuns vestal head - fails, wannabe puts up guard after getting focused.
Floating skulls are as weak as they appear so I continue to focus him with a similar blind rage as my bounty hunter. Crusader goes for stun - fails, bounty hunter marks, vestal heals crusader (fucking traps), wanna be doc buffs crusader. But I figured all I need is just two hits with my bounty hunter and its all over, I'll have beaten not only my first boss, but fucking Hastur of all things. I knew it wasn't going to be easy and I knew he was going to focus stress so that we would go insane and kill eachother. Now I love lovecraft mythos - especially king in yellow, so I knew who this fucker was right away. This asshole stops by to test how strong my meta really is, and as wayne would tell you, overconfidence kills. So I backtracked to unexplored hallways and rooms, all was well, found some loot, my dumbass crusader read a cursed book for the 5th time (cant help myself), got trapped for the 800th time cus rng really loves me, then boom. I've already reached rock bottom spending the last of my coin on torches and damn it all to hell if I'm not going to use those torches. My bounty hunter has now turned this entire dungeon into a joke by rinse and repeating a strat focused around him and his bloodthirst, its a little slow, but boy is it consistent. Stun or immediate backline damage would've been way better. Not good in my current team of "tank 1 turn and destroy the next" aside from extra protection for the crusader. No good heals, no stun, just protection and a blight dot that can only be applied one by one. Crusader kills the second, bounty hunter hits frontline for like 56 and obviously annihilates it, vestal heals bounty hunter, wanna be doc doesn't have an actual attack which my bounty hunter wasn't a fan of - every turn from here on out he would slap her and tell her "now is the time to hunt" - because of this I started using her dot almost exclusively but it didn't satisfy him.
My bounty hunter broke going bloodthirsty or virtuous, whatever its called. Frontline hit my bounty hunter with a crit, 3rd hits my bounty hunter with a stress attack. First fight starts, crusader stuns second one, BH marks the first, vestal stuns the last, and wanna be plague doc marks and buffs our tank crusader. We were in really shitty situation I didn't have much choice. My bounty hunter was stressed out his mind from a previous unsuccessful run where I used too much food to keep my tank alive and ended up getting a starving event. Sorry I'm new can't remember her class name. Had crusader, bounty hunter, vestal, and the potion person who's basically a tank version of the plague doc with out stuns. He attacked me on my 3rd dungeon crawl, not counting the road.
